So creepy! Does the door swing open when you just let it remain still and nearly closed? That sort of thing happens to me, too. Sometimes late at night, my door would slowly creek open--I'd jump startled, and would find my landlady's cat peering into my room. The cat also sheds fur and poops right in front of my door. :\

...Do you live alone in your apt or were you just alone in the apt at the time? It's scary to live alone. I had to do it in Clinton Courts--old 1920s building. :P
