That is weird... Maybe somehow LJ pushed it aside because of all those damn pictures=X
I'm glad you like it!! I'm not sure how I ended up thinking of doing that... I'm sure there was something that I either saw, heard, or... God, I really don't remember. It probably just came about with some odd chain of thoughts.
And it took me about 6-8 hours, but I wasn't really keeping track as it was an off and on project. =X
He's absolutely wonderful! It was really really great. They had a lame Picasso exhibit downstairs(they didn't have anything good at all. I don't like Picasso much anyways, though) and some Goya works, but I was too interested in Dali. If you're ever in London, go there!
It was actually surprisingly easily, it just took a while. Better than wallpaper, though;)
And actually one of the main reasons I did it was to amplify the amount of light(for drawing and whatnot). It's now at about the perfect light setting, but not overbearingly so.
Very cool! I'm always afraid to put up reflective surfaces (I had a cd thing going for a little while) because ..I don't know. I suppose I'm afraid that I'll turn on the light and my eyes will explode, or something. haha
if your room was edible, people would gorge themselves on it. no joke. it's deliciously refreshing and completely palatable. i can almost smell the bittersweet tang of aluminum with the underlying scent of semi-hallucinogenic-state-inducing inhalants. and the dali clock is definitely off the wall.. in spite of its being mounted on the wall. lovely, dear.

I like your room!! It's super neat looking. How did you think of doing that? (how long did it take you?)
Ahh! Dali museum! I'm obsessed with Dali. I love him I love him. How was it?

I do like the 'And then I filled up more space...', it looks like a martian stained glass window.

This looks like it took a lot of work.
How does this affect the lighting in your room?

I could take it off the wall... That would be random.
