What the hell is wrong with the Cairngorm documentation authors? All I want to do is load up their "Introduction to Cairngorm" PDF and print it off so I can read it more easily. However, some bright spark has plastered "Do Not Copy" diagonally across the page, making it mostly illegible and totally unprintable ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's just faint grey in the official Acrobat reader.

Anyone can make lightweight, fast software that doesn't work :-P

It does the job for 99.99% of stuff that I need to read, and far better than Acrobat ever did (e.g. it loads up in less than a second compared to the 10s of seconds Acrobat usually takes)

I still don't understand why they'd bother with a watermark rather than a simple footer. I hate watermarks, specifically because they make printing awkward.

dammit stupid Iphone crashed!

*retypes*

Are you sure you want to use Cairngorm? It's a little heavy and based off Java implementations of patterns (and I know how much you like Java)

Alternative frameworks include PureMVC, Swiz and Mate. Or if you application is simple enough - no framework!

I don't actually want to use Cairngorm as such, I just want to learn about how it could be used. If I had to choose a framework I'd probably consider PureMVC (due to the positive reviews), but there's no pressing need to start using a framework at the moment.
