Am I missing something, or is there really no way on FaceBook to filter event attendees so you can see which of your friends are going to something? (or not going, or maybe going...or any combination really)

This seems like such an obvious thing to want to do, and incredibly easy from a technical perspective...

Anytime you look at any list of people it should be ordered by social graph, i.e. people you are most-connected to first. This doesn't always work.

But that's harder than a simple filter! And if you have lots of friends going to something you can't instantly get an idea of how many unless they're all on the first page.

An underlying assumption of Facebook is that the number of links between individuals is more important than any of the individuals themselves. It wants to wrap you in the social graph like a fly in a spider's web...

Sounds like math-wank tbh.
