I went to Minnesota for Thanksgiving, and avani came with. We stayed for about a week, which was originally going to be a nice long relaxing visit. Aw, I wish I'd known you were in Seattle. Glad you had a good time, though. I haven't gotten to the Science Fiction Museum yet, I'll have to do that. If you visit again, you might want to check out EMP. It usually has really cool exhibits.

Hi, I haven't commented much on your LJ, but when I saw the part about 11 pounds of Nutella and thought "whoa!". Do tell, what kind of event was that?

It all started when we went to Pike Place Market on New Year's Eve. We were there late, and most things were closing up (which meant the Seattle residents got to see empty tables! something they never see there!) but then we walked past one store, looked inside through the glass-pane doors, and there was this gigantic jar of Nutella with a red bow on it. One guy in our group saw it, walked up, cradled it in his arms, and after some encouragement (the staff and others chanting "Do it!") he bought it. Some of us dipped most things we ate over the next few days in it.
We didn't end up eating the full 11 pounds. In fact, he had to repack some luggage to avoid having to pay fees for heavy baggage.
