dommie has been doing well, other than suffering from some congestion and indegestion. he's been letting us sleep for 2-3 hours at a time at night, which actually feels pretty good. he still hates having his diaper changed; sometimes his whole body turns red and starts quivering and he makes a sound that resembles a dying goat, but he seems to get ( Read more... )

dommie is doing well, actually sleeping more throughout the night. i only had to wake up once and comfort him for about 30 minutes. the doc said he's doing perfect; his jaundice and rash are practically gone, and the doc took off the remaining part of his umbilicle cord today. his belly button looks really weird, but i guess it still needs to heel ( Read more... )

had an exhausting weekend.. friday i mowed and weed-whacked the lawn, saturday was an all day birthing class and tour of the hospital (it's really nice, has an awesome view of the city, and is at the top of the same hill I used to live on), and sunday was a baby shower at Tiff's grandma's and a lot of cleaning and laundry. Tia is all moved in now.. I'm gunna have to get used to living with a teenage girl. She seems to be doing ok although I worry that she's gunna take over the basement and I won't get to go down there to make music or work on the computer. Hopefully we won't bug each other too much ( Read more... )
