Every now and again,

I come across a line that seems to fit that moment

That split second "ahah" that says,

This SO pertains to me.

Today it was

"sometimes those who fly solo have the strongest wings"

I just have to dig out of this nest .....

I hate how,
in the silence of this place,
the hallway floor creaks as if someone was walking it.

Every morning she dangles her toes in the water and looks at the reflection of someone she doesn’t know looking back -

and as the breeze picks up and carries the image away, it’s her secret with the river
