It is really too bad there is no way to protect yourself from this. Like, I understand that our writing is on the internet for the entire world to see, but still, it would be nice if there was some way to protect yourself. I'm sorry it happened to you as well.

Once upon a time I had someone make an anonymous comments in one of my posts, that led me to believe they could potentially be swiping my stuff. My words, I mean. Which was really quite absurd and/or silly, considering I mostly just write about my life--and I'm not exactly sure how one would go about stealing such a thing.

At any rate, I keep my journal mostly locked to friends, and I don't post any poems or short stories I plan on trying to publish. Figure this is the internet, and nothing's sacred. It most certainly does suck in every feasable way, though. And so I'm sorry you find yourself in such a situation.

Yeah, I kinda think it might be time to do a bit of spring cleaning, but at the same time, I don't feel as though I want to censor who reads this, just out of fear of being ripped off. I guess time will tell.

Oh, I most certainly didn't want a censor, either. But it came to that, or closing shop altogether. I won't have my words stolen.

i hate that. sadly i've had it done to me before as well. by my own brother none-the-less. everyone loves it when he wrote it though.

i stopped writing for a while after that.

dont get discouraged though. it sounded better when they were fresh on the keyboard.

if that person is as fake as they seem, everyone will find out and it will only come around and bite them in the butt.

keep your chin up.
