That's so cool, to share things from your childhood with another child. I've often wondered whether I'll have the chance to do things like that with kids of my own, or of my brothers.

I was so fortunate that my childhood obsession and his peaked at the same age. So I could easily tap into the "THIS IS AWESOME" thoughtstream, much aided by the fact that the aforementioned beat-em-up arcade game was pretty badass in its own rights, and help my nephew enjoy a truly geekawesome family gathering.

Ah, that game. Played a lot of that game, if it's the one I'm thinking of. Anthro turtles, lots of ass kicking, and pizza. What's not to love? :D

Yup. It was one of the better arcade beat-em-ups, and it actually aged quite well. That's always a pleasant surprise.
