i love the tao, it's the biggest, straightest road to take. yet everyone always wants to take those thin, curvey paths that lead to chaos. The irony.

Hmm, chaos. You have to admit by observing nature that there is order, yet it is imperfect. There is some sort of chaos but it's almost as if it's trying to perfect itself. I guess pefection is related to another of those "it's in the ye of the beholder" sayings. I wouldn't say that by following the Tao I haven't submitted myself to some sort of chaos, because that's what it feels like. It's a definite force, a feeling of being pulled towards reaching something higher, and at the same time looking back and considering death...which is easily within my grasp. Something changing, all the time. There is no comfort zone. If there is, it's not easily attainable, to me anyway. Perhaps if I was more easily fooled by myself, it'd be much easier.
