Well, I'm still here, and have not completely abandoned this place in the name of motherhood.

What a couple of months it's been! It's been both extremely stressful and wonderfully magical. The moments of magic out weigh any thing else, happily.

Ohhh, I'm so happy to hear from you! I've been wondering how life with baby Michael is going!

I'm sorry to hear that things are tight with money for you, but hopefully things start to look up with that sooner than later. =) ♥

The money thing was so awful at first that I was sure that between being up all night with the baby and fighting about money we'd be divorced by now. That first surprise 6 hours straight of sleep is a real 'god send' let me tell you.

PS
To make nursing easier at night I read paper back books of the mind numbingly easy variety. Shakespeare is too hard at 5 am (aka baby party hour).

I've got 26 more days until my due date. I have a doctor's appointment in the morning and then I may be going to go to Columbia to preregister at the hospital. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time.

I was going to email you and ask you if everything was all right. X_X! Glad to hear that everything's going good. Wanted to make sure of that, too, before I sent anything. Which I will. >_> I just picked up some cutey-boo wrapping paper from a Hallmark store that was going out of biz up in El Cerrito and totally thought about you/how things are going...again, glad and relieved to hear that things are o.k. (aside from the money).

Muse! Nice to hear you are alive and well. I HEAR you about the money! Literaly 1/2 of every dollar my wife earns goes to daycare costs alone.....
So she works for very little in the form of an hourly wage but we need every cent of it. It's insanely hard. Glad to know that little michael's smile is keeping you happy! Hope all continues to go well!
