Birthday, Birthday,Birthday!

Ok, so my birthday was March 3rd, but I had a helluvalot going on that day-- so my husband and I did a 2 part b-day, haha.

On my actual birthday we went out to dinner, and had a cocktail each. Then we came home and watched a movie. I was a tad melancholy on my birthday anyway because I had SO much going on.

I was going to ask you about that...

I was going to ask you about "The Bank Job," the last time we spoke but it completely slipped my mind. Last night, Shannon and I caught "Spiderwick," which turned out to be a fun fantasy.

Next weekend, my daughters are coming back down to visit and we'll probably go check out "10,000 B.C." I'm surprised that the producers of movies like "Fool's Gold" and "10,000 B.C.," which look like they should be shooting for the July "summer blockbuster" positions, are being released so early in the year. Of course, I'm sure that nobody wants to compete with "Indianna Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," so maybe it makes sense.

Whenever I go to the movies, I always write down what is previewing so that I can keep an eye out for new stuff. One of the more interesting films that previewed before "Spiderwick" was "WALL*E," a Pixar film which looks to be pretty standard fare for Pixar, but has some potential, I think.
