Moving update
I move stuff over this weekend. I move in on Monday.
I have:
I. Bought myself a new saucepan with lid
II. Painted the windowsill in my new room
III. Stocked up on storecupboard basics, sticking to my shopping list, except for a.flour and b.baked beans, both of which should have been on the list anyway

In the NHS we're offered "Choice", so when I got an appointment letter, refering me from my GP to the local hospital (not the one where I had the transplant) about dealing with the re-occuring peritoneal cyst, I get a phone number for the referal line, plus a reference number, plus a password, on a seperate sheet (stapled to the paper with the ( Read more... ) -

Soon I'll be working again! I'll be at the Oxfam bookshop as a volunteer friday afternoons. Bought a bit of Hotel Chocoat chocolate as a treat afterwards ( Read more... ) -

So today saw a great sporting event take place; That's right the Cotswold Wildlife Park Walk and Whizz in aid of Helen and Douglas House!
Didn't walk today, not sponsored, but walked a lot anyway, really enjoyed myself. Next year I'm thinking I'll do it with added participation from friends and relatives - wanna take part in an interesting walk ( Read more... ) -

Just got back from the gym. Dad drove me, as it's a bank holiday (Happy May Day!) and that means the bus runs a Sunday service - which means no buses through our village.
Slightly intimidating going to the gym, walking fast on a treadmill while others run on the meachines either side of you. The sound from the music speaker, and the aerobics class ( Read more... ) -
Gym
Thanks to an exercise perscription from my wonderful GP, I started at the Gym yesterday. I go back twice a week for the next 6 weeks, plus daily streatching. The treadmill was interesting - a little trouble walking on still ground after my first use! Already I'm more aware of my posture, straightening my back and shoulders as I walk. New Beginnings...
A New look for my blog. Maybe I'll update more often...who knows? I feel like writing more these days. You'll have to wait and see. So will I.
