I've been in Chicago this week; in a few hours I'll catch a train back to Syracuse. I've spent the day in a coffee shop-- this is my first day with free time to myself and a reliable internet connection. I've had a good time and found useful resources-- more on that later

By the way, Galileo makes for a wonderful history of science study. I think a fascinating paper would look at modern-day analogs. The impact of religion on science -- stem cell research maybe?

I love the new site.It's like taking a guided tour through Katie's frontal lobes, always an interesting place to vacation. My frontal lobes are currently full of French mice and one melancholy cat.....
