I'm schizo-effective, which includes every disorder you just mentioned above and then some basically... if she's on the RIGHT meds, then yes she does live in the same reality as everyone else.
As for working, if she has been hospitalized that many times within 2 yrs, her psychiatrist might have declared her unable to work. Like with me, I'm not allowed to work... especially with the public.
oh how i adore you!inkednurseMarch 24 2006, 21:16:19 UTC
Ryan...her psych WANTS her to work. It is amazing to me that she "just can't". She is on more meds than I can name and believes that all things can be cured chemically. WTF! Take ownership of your disease, learn about it and manipulate your life around it if necessary. (not you...her)
Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. *muah*
Yup, that's a tought situation. Rule #1...take care of #1 (which is you). Sounds like she needs to make a choice...ASAP. I know, easier said than done, but at some point something's gotta change for your sake.
From my experience, people like that just don't go away because you break up with them. People like this generally have control issues, and the financial thing is just another way to control the partner.
I really don't care of this woman is still a part of Jacs' life. They have together raised a couple of the g/f's kids for the past 4 years and Jacs wants to be a part of their lives so I imagine we'll always see this ex.
I agree with grateful and fatboy on this one, Twinsie my sweet..
There is a level in which you both need to feel embraced by the want/need/ability to be with one another. In a sideways perspective, the "non-determined" timeline probably is causing *her* problems too..which would be even more reason to establish a long-term "goal oriented" decision between the two of you.
For both of your sanities and sakes.
Call me tonight if you can girly..I'm hittin' that scary movie about the video game at five thirty or so my time..but I'll be home by eight at the latest on my end. If it's too late for you, hit me up in the morning. I'll be home..cleaning like my ass was on fire. ;)
Love you plenty 'nough to say that it's damn near pornographic. ;) --The Syrynn
