In a miraculous turn of events, I've gotten into the fall play as Ariel in The Tempest. While I am SO VERY EXCITED to get to fly around on a trapeze and be spritely, this also means that the postponement of Fade to Black is definite ( Read more... )

Congrats on getting Ariel! Doing The Tempest is going to be so much fun! Although I am sad for the hold on Fade to Black. I can't wait for it to start up again!

Oh, CONGRATS! Ariel is an awesome part, I think it's the most fun I've ever had in a play. And you get a trapeze? Soooo cool! :D That is totally worth postponing FTB, disappointed although that makes me. Have FUN!

And as far as applying to SCAD goes...if you get your application in in time for "early admission," then you might not HAVE to do another application. And I'm sure you'll get in; you can include a two-year-plus webcomic on your resume, that'll look good. Wish I could say I'll look forward to seeing you here, but alas I will be gone just before you arrive. You'll have such a great time, though, Sequential's so much fun. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks so much! Do you happen to know when that early admission deadline is? I've been badgering the admissions people, but haven't heard back yet.

I, too, am saddened by our perfectly-timed missing each other. Well, I'll know that I'm at the school where you once were! :)

I am so freaking excited to go to SCAD.

If I recall correctly, it was around December, but I'm not quite sure. SCAD's website sucks (just to warn you, it's all but impossible to get useful information off it), so I can't look it up, but I think it was around then. I'd say go for ASAP. GOOD LUCK! :D

Congrats on Ariel! Flannery told me about it at auditions.
Good luck with college, nanowrimo, and stuff--theater rocks ^^

Didn't Flannery tell you? I'm the stage manager ^^ YAY!! Ahh to think about how far I've come .... and we have a really fun cast (as i'm sure you do too)...anyways- have fun on a trapeze :D
