I have no idea about the original author, but I was kind of agreeing at first. Like, ok, yes, anyone can seem like a good person on the first or second meeting. You're not really sure if they're going to turn out to be horrible until much later (I had a literal sociopath living with me for 6 months before he showed his hand, and I thought he was peachy keen until shit blew up).

Annnd then it was all "if they have a crisis!" and "if they have a mental health issue!" Which, speaking as someone who has had rather frequent crises over the past few years and who loves a lot of people who have been diagnosed with various mental illnesses... dude, naw. Just no. That kind of invalidated the whole post for me

Then again... mebbie I'm a crazy bitch. ^^

The thing that made this amusing to me was it came from an ex-girlfriend...an ex-girlfriend who suffered some pretty major crises when we got together, and all through our relationship kept having crisis after crisis, and has severe diagnosed mental disorders.
