Christmas music is pretty neat in childhood. But when you're forced to work a job with it, or drive a vehicle with it playing, or ride a inanimate elevator with it... you start to get the whole throbbing vein of destruction pumping to the beat of jingle bells.
I'm on the same boat as thou. I had a lot of shopping done last week-end but now it just seems like the holiday is creeping up like John McClane at an airport!
Elevators do go up and down - but the people inside tend to stand positively still, at least I do. Plus, although the elevator is a state of movement, from the inside of an elevator, you don't see much of anything.... moving.
Not that I want to suggest that you NOT go to SalonCon (because I will be sad if you don't go) but there is always Dances of Vice in Feb. Probably the same perople will be there (plus another thousand). It adds up to kind of a lot of money though, cuz its in the city.

um.. i'm never home but i was gonna call you about ellen's part and the weekend of Jan. 18th. That's Arisia, and I'm planning to go for a day but I don't know which one.
And let's not even talk about xmas shopping. Who's not getting any presents? BOB! Why? I don't have time to shop!
And I got five Jason Webley cds the other day, and I want to send you copies but Bob's in some state in another timezone with the only working computer.
Christmas is sort of bust this year. We got a tree last weekend and it's just going to sit in my living room w/out decoration or presents until the 24th. When I am working anyway. woo.
