I've never been more confident that I have made the right decision. I feel comfortable and at home for once in my life. I absolutely love it here. I am ready for some rain, though. Having been in this weather for the last week makes this rain rumor feel like one seriously epic lie.

Tomorrow I head to St. Joseph and go to a creepy museum and see Libby for the first time in eons. I then will wake up very early in the morning and drive to Utah. The next day I will be at my new apartment in Oregon after a short 13 hour drive. I move in a couple of days and the gravity of all of this is still not hitting me. I just don't seem to get it. A defense mechanism, perhaps. Either way, I am excited and still not totally convinced this is actually happening to me. I suppose the thirty hour car ride will give it enough time to sink in.

Computer purchase was best idea ever. Yes, please and thank you. I will never sleep or eat again. Too much computer fun to be had. I get up for pee and drink only. Must continue...

Moving is coming at just the right time. I cannot find the words to express how depressing this place can be. So, I am still rocking the shit out of this no smoking thing. I feel pretty solid having gone almost six weeks sans smokes. I also packed today! I packed up my winter clothing and everything else I have no reason using in the next three and a half weeks. I only have one more box to pack because everything left is to be simply placed in the car. ( Read more... )
