I honestly think it's quite strange that we haven't seen more fics with Seme!Tobi. Am I the only one that actually EMBRACED his sudden change in character? XD I mean, I miss the old Tobi, but I think this makes his character so much more complex. <3

Actually, I always thought that Tobi would be seme, even when he was playing the clutzy goofball. Sometimes his true character did shine through, very subtly so, especially in his sense of humour - when he teased Deidara (and Pein told him to stfu stop) he was a bit too malicious and mature. And there's also that Deidara seems like he's made of uke (seems like that to me, at least), despite his deep manly voice in the anime. xD

I'm inclined to agree with you there. Because you're absolutely right--he was pretty vicious when he teased Deidara. XD (Their interaction always had me in stitches. 8D) And I don't know. He's one of those characters that struck me as too innocent, so his big reveal wasn't all that surprising.

I can see Deidara in either role (obviously). But he makes one hot uke.
