My backyard was out to get me last night. I was taking the trash out to the can, and as I was walking down my deck steps in the dark, my foot encountered one of my kids play-things. I was lucky enough to stop myself from falling flat on my face and then tossed the toy into the yard where it would be out of my way. At the gate, I tripped over

Hmm, not to be an alarmist, but given my history of head injuries I request that you put some ice on your head where it was hit and take some aleve or IBU Profen today if it is still hurting. Also, mind you don't feel nauseous, disoriented or have slurred speech in the next few days, and do not drink anything for a few days. I say this because if your head hurts the day after you hit it, it means that you have bruised something, and you did hit it against some concrete, and that's sort of a big deal. Anyway, you will be fine! If your head is still hurting on Sunday or you have light or sound sensitivity or any of the other stuff, you ought to just pay your doctor a visit. But definitely get that swelling down with some ice and aleve! Feel better!

I popped two aleve equivalent today and it doesn't ache anymore...Ican still tell there is pressure, though.

No altered perceptions, vomitting, light-sensitivity or anything, so I'm not too concerned. My speach is is slurry and stuttery as normal, so I'm not concerned in that regard either.

I should be fine and I doubt I'll need a hospital visit or anything, but I will keep on the lookout for all those things.

However, I will note that there appear to be more grammar errors in your post and responses than usual, as I typically do not associate any with you. Though it might just be my imagination.

I hope Friday's accidents haven't permanently harmed you. It sounds like you're being taken care of so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Regarding the sunglasses, they probably paid a fashion consultant to design them and are passing the cost on to the consumer. Good thing you won them for free. ;)
