Today at work I was appointed to help an ex-client who needed to be credited for something. It looked like a simple thing, but I ended up spending a lot of time between my other work, mailing and calling two departments of our company who were blaming eachother for something and in the ended blaming the ex-client instead of looking a bit better... It's been quite a while since I had (or made) time for it, but today I wrote several letters and I loved it. Jessica, one letter will be on its way to you :)

Michel has been Christmas shopping this afternoon. When I just came home I immediately saw two beautifully wrapped gifts under the Christmas tree. Curious as I am, I checked them out and I think I already know what I'm getting. The first are slippers, because you could feel it very well and I needed new slippers. Woohoo! I'm proud of myself! Michel is away for a big band rehearsal and normally when he is, I lay myself down and read, watch tv and do nothing all day. Which can be great of course. Tonight I woke up to go to the loo, which happens mostly every night, so that was pretty normal. When I crawled back into bed I saw the alarm clock said 3am, while it just felt like I had been in bed for about an hour (went to sleep at midnight). Michel and I both have a day off from work and he's sleeping on the couch. We thought about going to Antwerp to do some shopping, but the weather is so unpredictable today and there's a heavy wind, so we decided not to go. Yesterday my mother, Michel and I went to the Samhain Nocturne, which is on old Keltic tradition, which celebrates the transition from summer to winter. It was a mysterious spectacle with music, art, fire and light and that all in the woods which gave it something extra ( Read more... )

I guess now that everybody is/has been sick, I can't stay behind. Since noon, my throat is hurting so bad, and nothing seems to help. I think I'd better crawl under a blanket and wait for it to go away :/ To more days and I'm off from work for two weeks...
