I have this theory that everyone who is right out of high school and getting on with their life (and at the same time trying to figure out how to do so) goes through a period I call the mourning of childhood. The ship may symbolize you wanting to be free but still feeling as if you are tied to something. Also the fact that your movement helped sail the ship could be you showing yourself that everything you do has an effect in the end. The island you got to may represent what you are looking for with everything you think you could want including drugs to make the transition less painful

That's completely bizarre. Melatonin makes me have all these fucked up dreams. I like it, but I wish sometimes that I weren't addicted to it. Thanks for the interpretation. Have you ever considered a career path in sociology? I have a feeling that with the proper knowledge of anthropologics and society, you could establish your "childhood" theory concretely and make a name for yourself in the educational world.
Wow, that's very strange... It honestly could just be random toughts all compiled together, you know; thinking of that sone with its lyrics getting stuck in your head, stress at school that maybe reminded you of how you felt at elementary school, odd mivie clips or literature being redigested in your mind. Who was your "old friend" if you don't mind my asking? (Hopefully not me? I'm not evil!) Aw, did you really think someone would be weird to you about the Christian thing? *sigh* Sorry you have to deal with that, but jus tblow it off. :)
I'd say don't take that medicine again unless you want good inspiration for some fucked-up short stories! :)
You know, I was thinking about Mrs. Cockerham after the dream (the first I've so much as thought of her for the past several years) and I think perhaps she is what I was running from. The old friend was James, of course. He sucks. And I love the meds. I'm probably addicted, as it's been several weeks and I haven't been able to go to sleep (at night) without it. I have some awesome dreams. GOD, they kick ass.
