Love is actually like life. You know its going to end badly, that it's going to end too soon and there is no hope of its lasting, but you go on living all the same. And so people love, in the same way they live, longing for it to last but without any hope of its ( Read more... )

i get annoyed when he guesses the plot out loud, thereby spoiling the episode. yes, it's a predictable action comedy but COME ON. can't we pretend?

HA! mine does the same thing. it was particularly charming when we watched season 4 of Lost, because i got to be the know it all and he got to be the good guesser.

self-preservation ftw!

OH MY i am dumb.
Okay, so, i spend too much of my time in a gym, hanging out w/ wieghtlifter type lesbians b/c when i read:
"to paraphrase my second favorite no-nonsense lesbian, yeah, don't worry about the first fight--you'll have lots of time to perfect the process. my favorite part of fighting so far is the part where we're nicer to each other after."

i assumed that meant you had started boxing or some type of martial arts. i was excited about this b/c i've been thinking about starting to fight for awhile now (but broken bones and twisted knees have gotten in my way.
sorry.
i am dumb.

HA! you're not dumb at all, and i much, much prefer your reading of the text. alas, there are no martial arts involved, just hurt feelings and new relationships.
