[ So after Kanna's little burn-Russia rampage yesterday, Florian has been doing some serious thinking. And it looks like he's finally gotten a hang of the whole telephone thing. ]

What is 'dying'?

Does it hurt to 'die'?

[ And for a minute it sounds like he's going to stop there. ]

Why is it wrong to hurt people?

...Why do people get 'sad'?

[Ohgod, April is totally the wrong person to answer these questions since she's so meh about death and hurting people (but only bad guys) and is kinda socially and emtionally retarded. But she's gonna try anyway!]

W-what...?

Er...dying is when you stop living and...um...it depends what caused someone to die, it can either be painful or not...

Hmmm, it depends on who you ask that question to. Some people think it's wrong and others don't. But hurting people isn't a nice thing to do...And people get sad because something bad happened to them or someone they care about...

But, d-do you seriously not know any of this?

If you stop 'living' does that mean you stop moving?

Will they get better if you make them stop being sad?

...Uh-uh. Is that bad?

Yes...although here, you're able to die more than once.

Yeah, since being sad isn't a nice thing, although I don't think you can 'make' a person stop being sad...

N-no, it's just, ah, you're the first person I've ever heard ask these questions...a-and people usually know what death and sadness is...

[ So when you stop moving you die. He does his best not to remember Three's motionless body. ]

Then how do they stop being sad?

Anise says I don't know a lot of things, 'cause I was 'i-so-lated'. I don't know what that means though.

I died before I got here, and I've died a few times while here. Does it hurt? Well that all depends on how it happens. Sometimes, it does.

You can die more than once?

Why does it hurt?

Not where I'm from. I died, then ended up here in Mayfield. But if you die in Mayfield, you wake up the next morning no worse for wear.

But you're not supposed to stop being dead?

[Questions on dying? Teatime is all up on that shit.]

Dying is simply the end of life-- nothing special about it at all. And it doesn't hurt, as long as you do it... right.

[And then he stops. For that is where his expertise ends.]

Quick. Efficient. Elegant. There is quite a difference between inhumation and common murder.

[ Such a creeper. Not that he minds, if the way he's putting the phone down and turning to facew him is any indication. though he looks worried. ]

Is that bad?

[a-aww replica!kid how adorable. he continues rummaging round till he finds an orange to snack on, only turning his attention back to the tiny childthing afterward.]

Not at all. It's a trait that would benefit many people, rare as it is. Those are quite a set of questions to be asking, though.

[ The worried looks melts away and he smiles a little. It's nice to not be in trouble. ]

I was wondering. I heard the people in the cathedral talk about it sometimes when I Pamela would take me in there. They usually mentioned the seventh when they did [ and would stare at him, which scared him like nothing else. ] but I didn't understand most of it.

... Those are some big questions. And they don't have easy answers.

Why not?

Because as much as it would be easier if those concepts were black and white, the world doesn't work that way.
