Once again I find myself upset with society. I am upset with humanity as a whole. They continue to fall short of my expectation and in likeness I continue to fall short of my own. I feel like I took depression induced medication this past week. Its quite annoying and I do hope it goes away soon. I haven't been way down or anything, just a wee bit lonely I guess. Usually the wise words of some ancient philosopher soothes me, but that hasn't worked this week. I keep devolving into frustration which just perpetuates the mood. ( Read more... )

Sometimes I think it would be nice to wake up in a world where I could be honest. Our society seems to demand we be sensitive towards others and hide our natural impulses. It has been an amazing summer. I was thinking of all that I did and the list is substantial. To list a few... I went to a cubs game to start it off. I did 3 weeks of Desert Combat Training in the Mojave desert - California. I went to Florida and Georgia - visited with old friends, partied, and learned to surf. Update on girl situation... I have a girlfriend. It is the same girl I mentioned in my last entry. Yeah, I can't stay away from this one. I guess my blood isn't as cold as I thought. So I found a girl that actually makes me nervous. She's quite awesome and has been so nice to me. I feel like I might still have a heart, but that is yet to be proven. She left a card/note on my windshield while I was at work. It was sooo nice. So much has happened since I last posted... Florida trip was simply amazing. I decided I have to move south. I learned to surf despite a few wounds that might lead one to believe otherwise.
