I so loved this, and the hugs you described made me all mushy. But your beginning, well, my son graduated this past weekend (BS in Psych) and although I still see the little kid I once had, I also see the man he has grown into. Thank you so much for sharing it. BTW, what did you get your degree in?

Congratulations on getting your degree!

And your story was just lovely, and I especially liked Steve's remembering the last time he talked to his mom. I often wonder what she was like--great work on this :)

Thank you! I honestly thought I'd never get this far degree-wise. lol.

I often wonder what his mom was like esp since the show hasn't shed a lot of light on her. For some reason I keep picturing a woman just a little like Danny personality wise. Isn't there a song that has the phrase 'I want to marry a girl just like the girl that married dear old dad'? I keep thinking that. lol
