i washed my hair today, as i do every sunday... i havnt posted pics in a really long time so i decided to quickly do so tho im pressed for time... my dreads with be 6 months on feb 22/23!!!... im excited that ive made it this long with how horrible i felt they were for a while, they shrunk almost 2/3 of their origional lenth which was a surprise ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's amazing how much they shrink. Mine are 2 1/2 years old now, and they're just getting longer than they were when they started I think. Well around 2 years they did maybe.

I cut the fuzz once in a while, but don't get too excited. It comes back. Nowadays I mostly trim the completely loose hairs that grow in between the dreads and leave the dread fuzz alone.

Yours look like they're coming along well. Happy almost 6 months!

wow... *Eep* thats a long period of time for them to grow back to org length!!!..

yeah i didnt go too nuts with the trim... just really really needed to be done... i found a pic on my comp from couple months ago and theres a HUGE diff now with majority of frizz gone... just stuff that was never going to lock up, i waited as long as i could i felt... yes friz has come back but at least its not long strands anymore!!!
