Congrats on the slimming down!

Count me in on the Louboutin love. I am extremely partial to the snakeskin peep toe platform, which retails for a cool $850. Why wasn't I born with a trust fund??

jocedlyn, the answer is simple. the answer is - God Hates Us.
Why else would we have champagne taste and a miller hi-life budget??
I'm going back today to score my free MAC lipstick and to stare longingly at the shoes that wish to be mine. Those red soles! GAH!!!

re: louboutin and fancy sunglasses - i'm a bargain shopper. i get my kicks finding nice things for cheap and while that is acceptable when it comes to clothing, there is something about gorgeous (expensive) shoes and sunglasses that cannot be recreated in any knock off or look alike. i nearly cried when i had to put a pair of dior glasses back during my spin through duty free last year. couldn't justify spending $300 before my plane even left the ground for vacation. sadness. despair. someday!

isn't it painful?? :(
I mean - there is just no duplicating those RED SOLES on the Louboutins. Every time i see Lindsay Lohan sporting a pair, I want to strangle her right on the spot!!!
The upside is, someday I will be an attorney with no children. Some sweet day, indeed ;)

I know this is an old post, but I was reading back after your Mardi Gras manifesto. I have to recommend the Rene Furterer hair stuff. They sell it at Sephora. Anyway, I used to have a roommate that was a hairdresser working at a fancy salon that used and sold the Furterer stuff. It is awesome, you should pick up some conditioner and keep it for use on weekends and special occasions. They also used Murad skin care stuff, which is even more expensive but really works. I often curse my old roommate (who brought these things home at a cost of 50% off) for getting me hooked on those products, usually when I'm at Sephora and can't afford to buy them for myself. Currently, I'm using a Murad facial cleanser and I look great (I broke down and bought cigarettes recently and the guy ID'ed me. I'm 36). I wish I could have afforded the eye cream.

Do they have it on Amazon? If so put it on your wishlist. For me, I am going to take some of my tax return and treat myself.
