Today in school, two seperate stair wells smelled like two different things from my happy childhood: my preschool and the natural science center, both of which I frequented often around the age of 3. Oh man, the science center has such a distictive smell, and I can't describe it at all, but I've never smelled anything like it. There never seemed to be any one source for the smell either, the whole building smelled the same. Happy memories of dinosaur rubbings...
