as most of the seniors know, we have to chose a baby picture, make a list of our activities, find a quote, and list our friends for the yearbook before thanksgiving break. I decided that I'm just going to do a baby picture and a quote because the other stuff is fucking dumb. help me decide on a quote, or give me a better one! ( quotesss )

the first one (t.s. eliot) or the confucius one. the rest seem overused but those two seem perfect.

mmmm... I say don't use any of them, because quotes like that everyone else is gonna have the same thing or the same sort of thing. If you really like them, tho, I sa go for the long Dr. Seuss one. Dr. Seuss is awesome.

There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to everything.

it's from the japanese book of the samurai and also is quoted in ghost dog. That scores you cred points for it being Japanese and being from a Jim Jarmusch film.

Plus I like it and I heed its wisdom whenever I get caught in a rain.
