Thank you.:) I'm really sorry I never replied to your other comment. I think I'll be able to afford a prom dress if both of my parents help me out, but thanks for the offer. And we should try to hang out sometime anyway. Also...happy Passover!

Hey Jen, I think what adropintheocean said has a lot of merit. It might sound dumb, but you should sit down and weigh out each college; side by side distinguishing between pros and cons. You are on your way! You have narrowed it down to 2 colleges. I might be able to relate with you in regards to Cornell. Michigan is also a very large school. I really enjoy the different opportunities; since it is a large research university it offers a lot. Also, I could switch my major to almost anything and be assured that the program is top-notch in the country (you would find this with Cornell, I am sure). Going this route had been hard though, Michigan is a great school and many of the students were top in their class, 1400 SAT's and turned down those Ivies (like you might do) because they couldn't afford them. This makes it challenging! Every student here is exceptionally bright and hard working. Coming from Malden though, I think it is important, especially you (because you need more than what our high school offered), to be ( ... )

yay so u are going to Cornell!!! im still waiting for u to tell me about it, but when i go visit (well, im probably gonna see if i get accepted before i go because i was supposed to go over april vaca...but we decided that would be pretty pointless if i dont get in) it ill go up and stay with u and u can show me all around. i hope u end up liking it though, and yea i had no idea that they had a marching band. i hope that means they have percussion groups up there... ha but yea, congratsss
