At first I was a little put off but it grew on me. You write succinctly and with good grammar (important). I don't agree with everything you've said but you have a lot of time to read more and form your own opinions. I say yes because I would like to see you stick around and pick up more knowledge.
Also as a lot of your answers included 'I'm not quite sure but' you might consider making a news source something you check out every couple days or so. So learn more about the issues and we'll get more coherent answers in future discussions! PS. as a vegetarian I am surprised to see you look to Bush for answers as he (and his administration)are notoriously poor with environmental issues.

I know, I got carried away!
hahaha.... I thought this community was dead! Oh well, why should I, the original creator be denied to opportunity to judge an applicant:)
Let's see...
I saw your plea to "not hurt you" with respect to your opinions about Iraq, but I can't let this slide: I think that if we had not invaded Iraq then they would have invaded us. I'm sorry, but Sadam never had the ability (and never would have had the ability) to directly invade or otherwise attack America. Even our current administration will admit that much, so if you think otherwise than you are misinformed
( ... )
Jamie, by coming in to this community, you're looking to get a mass ton of crap piled on your head for any of your views politically, religiously (spiritually), and emotionally
( ... )
your about the same age as my brother and the only thing he does is play video games. if he showed half, or even a third, as much interest in learning as you have i would be amazed. put a few years and a college education into you and you will definatly be an intellectual. what i think is interesting is that you gave a lot of the same answers about politics that about 65% of the 30+ american public would have. i loved your quote about dancing as a form of expression. it is incredibly zen, and very representative of life - it cannot be expressed any other way than by simply living it. and it shows, most importantly, a kind of bare or basic life that can only be found in expression. that even with all of humanities intellect and ability to reason, infinite joy (and wisdom) can be found in their absence. anyway, enough dramatics. ps is that picture of the dancer you??

even though you are young, you seem quite intelligent.
You seem to want to expand on what you already know and broaden your horizons, so to speak.
