Firstly, I really like your icon... I was just listening to that CD tonight, actually.

About the application:
# 1: I think that everyone should be peaceful and mind their own business. It doesn’t seem like such a difficult concept to me.
Unfortunately, this was an extremely difficult concept for some Iraqis five years ago on September 11th. When other countries start not minding their own businesses and stop being peaceful toward us, it's only the smart thing to fight back.

#8:Well, it’s great for me, because I’m not the one being ripped off. I’m all for it.This answer sounds rather bratty and immature, to me. And if you think about it, you are hurting yourself by file-sharing, because if you rip off a business or an artist, you're only taking more money out of the economy, and taxes are raised as a result of people who are doing poorly, financially. You pay taxes, no ( ... )

#8) Yeah, that was kind of bratty, but I guess I just don't think about who it's hurting, because I'm getting something free that makes me happy. I don't download things myself, because I'm too afraid to do it, but if someone wants to give me free music, I don't say no.

#10) I think as long as the stories remain accurate, and they don't make it into TOO much of a circus, then it's okay. A certain degree of sensationalism may make people watch the news that wouldn't normally think it was interesting, so it is probably a good thing if they don't overdo it too much.

#17) It's not that I don't want to offend anyone, it's just that I am torn on the issue myself. On one hand, I think that having an abortion is like just killing babies. I think it's a horrible practice, and I think that all human life should have a chance. BUT, I think that if I was stuck in a hopeless situation, that I would want to have that choice available to me. I don't know if I'd actually have an abortion, but to know there is a way out is comforting. Also, I don't ( ... )

Thanks for responding.

I'm wondering, though, what would you consider to be a "hopeless situation" in which someone might need/want an abortion? What about giving the child up for adoption, or finding people to help you raise the child? Just wondering what you think of those options. When would one not have those options?

Anyway, I'm gonna give you a yes, because I do see that you put thought into your answers and you have some good reasoning behind your opinions, even if I don't always agree. This place has been kind of dead lately, though, so good luck getting many more votes!

Thanks for the vote. :)

There's always situations where the mother's life is at risk. And I guess some people wouldn't be able to afford to even carry the baby to term (missing work might not be an option.) That's why I never really know what to think of abortion, because there are so many different situations and stories that I can't just say yes or no either way.
