I just hate "arsehole" because Americans don't use it. As femme says, it takes me right out of the story. I've noticed sometimes that British and even Canadian authors sometimes use words that QAFfers would never use, and it's certainly not that I don't understand them, it's that it pulls me out of the story.

Arsehole is a derogatory term in regards to one's personality isn't it?
