Really??!!? M has taken Friday off work to stay here and do stuff; call us after you've woken up gently and ask then if we have any specific needs. While I have a maid coming tomorrow, I'm sure there will still be more help needed!

I wondered how M. was doing. I'm sorry his eye problem hasn't gotten any better. :( (And I totally understand about selling the house.)

I should've answered this a long time ago--M's eye problem is better. It's significantly better. We're learning how to manage it, and he hasn't had a ripped cornea in a looong time now.

But it won't ever get cured. Call it part of his own personal aging process, one that hit kinda dramatically and too young, but it doesn't heal. So, yeah. No living in the country for us. :(

But frankly, that's a pretty minor concession to have to make, so I'm OK with it.
