I listened to an interview (on KCRW's To the Point) with Borzou Daragahi who writes for the Los Angeles Times.   He flat out said that the US has released zero evidence for its claims that Iran is sending weapons over the border into Iraq in support off Shiite militias.  LA Times ran a story with a similar point, but they didn’t go as far.  This is ( Read more... )

Southeast mich was not exactly spared from ice this week, though we didn't get the kind of ice seen elsewhere in the US.  I missed the best pictures from the sun reflecting off the trees, but you get the point.  We didn't really see much damage in town, but elsewhere power was out for days.
