I have just removed several people from my friends list. Please take no personal offense to this, as none is intended. My journal has recently become more personal, and I've been considering this for some time now. In addition, I will have much less time to spend on LJ in the coming weeks and months (what with senior history papers, graduation, etc ( Read more... )

I don't think that the LJ friends list should come with any sort of personal obligations. If a person has interesting enough posts and I want to read what they have to say, I might friend them back. Otherwise I don't. A lot of times this makes people unfriend me soon after friending me. I don't understand that at all.
So you go and unfriend whomever you want whenever you want. It could even be me.

I agree, but sometimes people do get hurt or feel rejected. I have several people on my f-list who haven't friended me back, and vice versa. I just made this post to hopefully prevent someone feeling slighted. I guess I worry too much about stuff like this. ;)

so i finally got around to getting a LJ. nothing so spectacular on it so far save for a few bored scibblings and 2 quasi-lame poems. so anyway.... how are you? add me to your list yo!
