oh wow! congrats on the new job but i'm sorry to hear your body is aching - that must be so tough everyday. I purchased one of those ergonomic lumbar cushion things that has helped me out tremendously. you may want to get a little footstool too. make sure not to always cross your legs while at your desk because that can throw you off.

i'm really interested in learning more about your experiences with tzniusdig boundaries and navigating life and friendships across gender. i can imagine it must be challenging to develop rapport with colleagues while being mindful of appropriate modesty, if i understand correctly...

lastly...i live in crown heights! I live in the most western part across from the botanic gardens. I love my building and would be happy to share information about it. i also have friends in realty here if you are interested in getting connected. do let me know!

MT on the job, although I completely agree that home mothering is much better (and more fun) than office mothering for so many reasons. But it does sound like this is the best possible situation for you...It's not so important to make work friends but I suspect it will happen naturally for you.

How are the boys reacting to the new schedule? CH will probably be a cool place for you...you already like it there and know the hood, and your kids will have many opportunities there (and will fit in).
