I have moved to my "happy place" to write.  I spent several valiant hours at the dining room table, but I just can't take it any more.  I am very glad to be on the upstairs couch, legs tucked under me, computer on my lap, with the sun streaming in through the sliding glass doors.  I love this apartment so much and each space has its own charm, but ( Read more... )

*Manny graduated Juilliard!  We made him a little surprise party over Shabbos.  Hubby had the idea to get him a cake and Moo and I made him a banner.  Moo decorated it with "Good Job" stickers and I wrote "Mazal Tov!  You put the BA in 'BASSOON'!"  He informed us that he actually got a Bachelors of Music, but I can't put BM on a banner ( Read more... )

I just want to say this now, while I'm thinking of it.  If you celebrate Mother's Day and enjoy it, I wish you a happy and fulfilling one.  The best way to remember me on Mother's Day, however, is to let it pass without wishing me a happy one.  Hug your kids, hug your mom, and pray for the redemption, but please don't wish me a Happy Mother's Day.
