Title: Revelation
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Roy/Ed
Prompt: 100moods #48 Guilty
Summary: I was taking prompts the other day, and this is what I wrote for eve_n_furter. It's meant to be sort of a darker take on the hurt/comfort theme. Warning for character death (not Roy or Ed).
Disclaimer: This is me, not owning FMA or the characters etc.

The rest of my fics are here.

Ouch. Painful, but very eloquently stated. Of course, to enjoy this fandom, I think you have to be somewhat of an emotional sadist sometimes. ;)

I agree entirely. This fandom is absolutely chock full of emotional brutality.

Ow. That stung. But it is true, Ed would give anything to help his friends, even when it hurts him. Poor guys. And the death... ;_;
I like your descriptions of Ed keeping up the motions, not being able to let his thoughts go and not being able to turn the situation around either. It proves that he truly does love Roy, if not in that way.
Thanks, it was even better than I hoped for. *smiles and blinks*

Aww, I'm really glad you liked it. I really wanted to be sure and really do the idea justice. It was such a great prompt.

Damn that was good. Ed's POV here is brilliant! I especially liked the 'rot in his belly' line. You described the feelings of guilt so beautifully!

That was brilliant and so bitter sweet. I can see Ed worrying about not loving someone enough/the right way and yet, love is love. I also liked the hints that maybe Ed loved Roy a little too much.

The parts about grieving were gently done and showed a lot of understanding both of the characters and the emotion.

Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you very much! I think that there's kind of a disconnect between what Ed thinks that he's supposed to be feeling, and the reality of the situation. On some level, he does love Roy, even if it's not the way he thinks he's supposed to.

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
