all the lifetime fitness places i've seen look like freaking resorts or something. do they acutally use all that space or is it like a loft? either way it's cool that you got a membership!
on blood donation: good for you! sorry about the pain. :/ did you do it at red cross? red cross and carter bloodcare have week-long drives on campus a few times every semester. i give to carter because they're better than red cross.
anyway, the deal with the use/don't use thing is that some people will donate just to get a free shirt or food or whatever. the bigger issue is people donating for other reasons, though. companies will sometimes sponsor blood drives and offer employees some sort of reward for donating, so the employee will donate bad blood for the reward. the blood bank offers the use/don't use sticker as a way of avoiding distributing bad blood. they still test all the blood for certain things, but there are other tests that they only do on random samples.
