Say what!?!
I have been looking around for a new job since I lost 10% of my pay. Now with the newly acquired day off on the second 10% I can afford to stack up interviews and other things. I'm starting my first forced day off preparing for an interview. The pay is about what I'm making now, but I'll actually have an opportunity to advance, which isn't an ( Read more... ) -
Things carry on and I make progress...
I've been in a bad place the past two weeks since I found out that my pay was being cut another 10%. That's a total of 20% of my income that is no longer coming home to pay the bills and put food on the table. The stress of that, plus additional layoffs and no apparent warning that they are going to be asking people to leave was making me ( Read more... ) -

Unhappy with my own behavior

New blender, yay!
Last weekend thedpr bought me a really cool Hamilton Beach blender. It has one big container with a spigot on the bottom for easy margarita extraction and two individual cups that allow you to blend individual shakes. I can pick and choose the ingredients and I'm hoping that will make more difference in the calories... It's really cool ( Read more... ) -

I've had about enough. I'm pretty sure the insomnia and the random squeeze-the-breath-right-out-of-me chest muscle spasms are related to stress. That or I need to see a doctor about my heart. It could go either way at this point really ( Read more... ) -
