I've been reading this dude on Reddit's posts all night. He's very well read, smart, witty. He's a good writer (and says he's not), and knows a ton about food. TIL there's a such thing as a french omelette.
And the more I read, the more I enjoy; also he hates semi-colons in fiction.

Feeling so relaxed (comparitively). Definitely feeling like I should lose weight, today. I may go for a red-meatless diet today. (Like that will help - but hey, if eating bad food harms, how is not eating it good? HUH? Yeah I thought so ( Read more... ) -

My first day off in a while, the first of ten, looms over me like a big machine used to make fabric.
I'm thinking of what to do and mostly I come up with food stuff to do. Lunches to go have. I'm confronting the idea that "I should be able to go out alone and eat whenever I want to", because "what ends up happening is I get too nervous to do it ( Read more... ) -

There's a lot I want to say right now but I'm too lazy to organize it into a finely-tuned message. I have been complaining a lot about something from yesterday, though.

Things with golf and dad are mildly changing. The last time I played with him, they were slightly more fun; times before that...well I've been frustrated. Golfed with D, and he was actually fun somehow! Ditto gaming, less frustrating ( Read more... ) -
Work related and positive
So I've been given a job offer, at our head office. Friday the COO and the VP of sales, head of commercial, head of retail managers, HR director had me and three other ladies come by for this new dept they're setting up. Bottom line?- More retention needed for home insurance.
