30 Days of Torchwood: Day Twenty Five
Yesterday's oatmeal-licious success has filled me with confidence. Also, oatmeal. Giving it another go today.
This is another one of those overly broad questions that I feel like I can't give an answer to. I've written a lot of stuff that I love, my friends have written a lot of stuff that I love, and there have been times in Torchwood fandom that it seemed like the only folks writing were brilliant literary geniuses.
(Granted, the opposite has also felt true from time to time. Er.)
In any case, it's an unfair question. I would rec and class as favorites any number of fics. There are people whose work I'd rec without reservation, and I refuse to run down the list on the basis that I will miss someone and then feel guilty about it, but I suspect they know who they are because I'm still reading and commenting on their stuff in spite of the fact that I don't have as much time as I used to for fanfic.
Really, I think I loathe picking favorites from an active group. So I'm going to pick something by someone who's not really in fandom these days.
There are a handful of fics, though, that have stayed with me these last few years, though. One of them is jbs-teeth's " What Happens in a Hundred Lifetimes."
Teeth doesn't believe me when I tell her how much I love this story. That's fine. She can be in denial all she wants. I think it's fantastic.
