30 Days of Torchwood: Day One

Yikes. No updates since WIAD and this place is a mess. Maybe this weekend I'll bring in a clean-up crew and do something useful.

Right. Here goes.

She's certainly an interesting character.

And I'll say no more, apart from Yay, you're alive! Good to hear from you again

Thanks! I kind of want to make up ridiculous stories about being locked in a cellar by cannibals, but I think we all know I'd be past my freshness date at this point.

Ah well. It was a nice idea for the moment I entertained it.

That was very rude of your fictional cannibals. I hope they looked after you well.

Nah, no defriending here. Gwen's pretty kickass in her own right, and you've made a compelling argument that even diehard Gwen-haters can't deny. Good job, there. ☺

I might do this one. Maybe. Time permitting. *falls over gasping with laughter at the mere concept of 'time permitting'*

I'm interested to see your answers to the next twenty-nine...

Honestly? I think I've dusted off the fandom journal in an act of rebellion against having no time at all.

Clearly I need a valve. :)

GWEN! \o/

I'd be more eloquent, but you pretty much covered it.

I'm very new to the fandom, and did everything assbackwards with fic first and then seeing an ep. But the very first time I saw Gwen onscreen in Day One (the first one, not the second) I fell in love with her as a morally complex character with an equally complex personality. I loved how much she grew into her aspirations as a leader over the course of the show. I, for one, am excited that there's more to Gwen Cooper Williams' story.

Hello, welcome, and agreed.

Man. I feel like I should have a plate of snacks or something to welcome random folk dropping by. Er.
