You know I was just thinking and I realized something about people, people are always trying to put on some facade of how they think they should act, and one of these many mask is modesty. However, when you really think about it, modesty only works in the eyes of the ignorant, but in the eyes of those who are knowledgeable, modesty is nothing more

I do not know too much about modesty but I know there exists such as thing as wanting to "keep to one's self" and not tell the whole world about what one had for breakfast.

I mean the idea that someone tries to downplay someones own achievements. I can't think of any reason someone wouldn't be happy about doing something they wanted to do, or something that was good. If someone wins a race and they are asked about what they did to win, and they reply well i just went out there and drove my race. It's pretty much putting everyone else down. They don't say they tried their hardest or did everything they could, they instead make it sound like it was easy, while everyone else tried hard and didn't win. I just feel like they aren't really being honest with their feelings. And i have no clue what caused the post hun, i think i was just thinking one day and thought of it.
