this has been a very strange semester. we got Jenna back. my great-aunt has cancer and is thinner and less aware every time i see her. my academic enthusiasm is less than normal. much less. i don't think i've read a single book for pleasure. i've gotten some really good feedback from my professors. we put out an awesome literary arts ( Read more... )

once, my mother and father were taking my older sister and me to pick out carpet for our room. Mom kept saying something about burbur carpet (spelling? i care not.). we thought she was saying bourbon carpet. we laughed a lot. turns out the carpet has nothing to do with alcoholic beverages. we were disappointed.
