I just miss her so much. My friend died last month. She was the one who I could tell everything to. I never realized how much I saved up to tell her. Now every day I realize that she won't be there to tell. Most days I do ok, I realize how lucky I was to have her in the first place. I have experienced a lot of loss in my life, a lot. I lost a really good friend this week.  She died after going into the hospital after being injured in an accident - not even that bad.  But then she got one of those MRSA infections and was never able to recover.    I miss her so much.  She was brilliant, kind, generous, and so supportive.  The hospital was so horrible, they acted like it was her ( Read more... )

If you have ever read the story then you know what my day was like today. It sucks to be forgotten. Even worse to be deliberately forgotten, but maybe I only imagine that. If you haven't read the story, and you are in the mood to be depressed, then go google it. It is a short story and I know it is online somewhere.

Long time since last posting. Obviously GD was a long time ago and now we are onto the 'tache chronicles. That is a CSI reference. Anyhow, the job is still uncertain, but I have become numb to it. I just blew a bunch of money on a new TV during the same time that I am considering stopping watching TV. Nice to know my sanity is still in check. ( Read more... )
