I want a pair of cowboy boots.  However here the cowboy boots are less Western Wear and more Flashy Latino.    Which is fine (duh), but just not a look I could pull off.   I also want a pair of mini Uggish boots for stomping around in this winter, especially with the dog walking.  (Maybe I can litter train the dogs...hmmmm)....Sears has Ugg style

I can't help with the Ugg boots, but I can make a cowboy boot suggestion. I have a pair of Ariat boots. I tried on a bajillion pairs before I settled on them, and they were the most comfortable brand by a mile. On Zappos, you can find a ton of different varieties/colors/etc. I opted for the fatbaby style because they have a heavier lug-style sole, but all the Ariats I tried on were fab. Just my 2 cents. :)

I have a pair of Columbia winter hiking boots (ankle-height) that are awesome for walking around town. They've got much more padding & support than any other pair of winter boots I've had.
